Members and Reserve Members:

Starting Thursday Sept 8th, we will resume "In-Person" activities meeting at the American Red Cross Building at 195 Willis Ave, Mineola at 1930 hrs. The 2nd Floor room is not available due to a prior reservation, so for this coming meeting we will meet in the basement meeting room.  Entrance and parking in rear of building. We will continue at least through the end of the year to stream the meeting as well using 'go-to-meeting' (at which point the use will be reevaluated).  Log on info is on our website www.nassaucountyares.org

At the General Meeting we will take this time evaluate the ARES Task Books we started before COVID had pushed us to online meetings. Rob KD2GRS and myself will be signing off on sections/level of completions.  This is a necessary step to get a new ID card since all have expired.  I will have blank task books available for those who lost or misplaced theirs.  Bring Certificates/certifications for any ICS, ARRL, other courses that need to be signed off in your Task Book.
